The DONUTS Collaboratory, co-founded by three faculty in Drexel University’s Information Science Department at CCI, brings a values-centered, data-driven, and language-driven approach to sociotechnical problems. Improving people’s everyday lives, by preserving their agency, safety and dignity amid rapid technological change, lies at the heart of the DONUTS team’s research into digital discourse, ethics, privacy, safety and AI governance.
